26th Annual Mardi Gras Ball
"A Chinese New Year"

6:00 pm to midnight

Attire: Theme costume or Black Tie, Benefiting Rosenberg Library.
Enjoy an extravagant array of savory Asian dishes, an open bar, and first rate entertainment by New Orleans' jazz great Dr. Michael White and Quartet, Houston's Eclipse Band and Orchestra, and Austin's favorite Latin dance band, The Brew. Experience prime viewing of the Momus Grand Night Parade as floats and bands stop in front of the hotel to perform. The evening is hosted by the George Mitchell Family who re-instated elaborate city-wide celebrations of Mardi Gras in 1985 with the grand opening of The Tremont House.
