01/31/12 - I hope everyone has had a fantastic January! February is full of events already and a few new places opening too.

Two great restaurants that opened recently are Triniti and Uchi. If you haven't been to Uchi - run, don't walk! The Houston location is just as good as the Austin one. If you haven't been, be adventurous and ask for your waiter for recco's if you need some! Don't eat rolls in other words! The tuna goat cheese in cold apps, rocks!

Triniti is very good, great space. Another adventurous menu and I love that Houston is getting those type of restaurants. Neither restaurant is inexpensive, so don't get sticker shock!

Jonathan Jones is no longer with XXEL (El Patio Midtown) so look for that menu to change so get back there you Midtown folks - blue ritas and a little different of a menu with hopefully keeping some of Jones great items.

BRC has launched different menus for lunch, dinner and brunch - that's new for them. It used to be the same menu for all. So check out there Spring 2012 menu!
